The molecular mobility of 2-propenylphenols capable of hydrogen bonding

Hydrogen bonding and molecular mobility of 2-propenylphenols containing an aminomethyl fragment in the ortho position were studied by NMR. The results confirmed the importance of using relaxation times as a sensitive test for molecular dynamics studies.     

Krein’s Theorems for a Dissipative Boundary Value Transmission Problem

Let us consider the differential expression $$\ell (y)=-y^{\prime \prime }+q(x)y,\quad x\in I:=[0,c)\cup (c,\infty ),$$ where c is a transmission point and is regular for the differential expression ?(y). We assume that Weyl’s limit-circle case holds for the differential expression ?(y) on I. In this paper, using Krein’s theorems, we investigate the completeness of the root vectors of a singular dissipative boundary value transmission problem generated by ?(y).     

Quasielastic light scattering in the near IR from photoexcited electron-hole plasma created in a GaAs layer with embedded InAs quantum dots

The paper reports the development of a high-sensitivity technique for measurement of inelastic electronic light-scattering spectra in the near-IR region, which are excited by a stable single-mode cw YAG:Nd laser operating at 1064.4-nm. This technique has permitted detection for the first time of quasielastic scattering of light by a photoexcited electron-hole plasma generated in a GaAs layer with an embedded self-organized ensemble of InAs quantum dots. A considerable resonant enhancement of the quasielastic electronic scattering intensity exceeding the level characteristic of the bulk material by two orders of magnitude has been revealed. The main scattering mechanism, involving joint diffusion of electrons and holes, has been elucidated. Fiz. Tverd. Tela (St. Petersburg) 41, 844–847 (May 1999)     

Dissipative operators with impulsive conditions

In this paper a singular dissipative impulsive boundary value problem with $n$ -impulsive points is investigated. In particular, using the Lidski?’s theorem it is proved that all eigen and associated functions of this problem is complete in the Hilbert space.     

Effect of Some Organic Compounds on Composition of Products of Spark Dispersion of Aluminum

The influence exerted by the nature of organic components of the working solution on the composition of products formed in spark dispersion of aluminum was studied.     

Krein's Theorem for the Dissipative Operators with Finite Impulsive Effects

In this article, singular dissipative operators with finite impulsive conditions are investigated. In particular, after passing to the inverse operators, it is obtained that the imaginary parts of the inverse operators are nuclear. Finally, using Krein's theorem, it is proved that all root vectors of the singular dissipative operators with finite impulsive conditions are complete in the Hilbert space.     

Properties of the two-dimensional exponential integral functions

In this paper uniform convergences of the two-dimensional exponential integral functions are investigated. We also study the continuity, integrability and asymptotic behaviour of these functions.
